To aid the Office of Admission in its mission to attract and enroll diverse and talented students to Davidson, groups of alumni across the country work in teams as Davidson Alumni Recruitment Team (DART) volunteers. These alumni are an extension of the Office of Admission, acting as a resource for prospective students in their communities by offering the hallmark personal attention for which Davidson is highly regarded. DART volunteers:

• representing Davidson at area college fairs in the fall and spring
• host and attend receptions for prospective Davidson College applicants in the fall and admitted students in the spring
• call, write letters, and send email to prospective students identified by the Office of Admission.

Training for DART volunteers is conducted by members of the admission staff and each team is chaired by a local alumnus.
