Davidson College is governed by a Board of Trustees--forty-two members with an additional five serving ex officio.  The Davidson Alumni Association annually elects two alumni representatives to a four-year term on the Board of Trustees. Additionally, at least four of the trustees elected at-large by the trustees themselves must be alumni.  The President and President-Elect of the Alumni Association are two of the ex officio members.
