Help Desk

The Help Desk is designed to be the primary point of contact for IT Services. Its purpose is to receive problem reports, requests, and questions regarding computing and telecommunications at Davidson College. Email the Help Desk with your day-to-day computing and telecom issues. If your support need is urgent, call extension 2900. 

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location: User Services Building, 213 North Main Street


ResNet Help Desk

Residential Networking helps students get their computers connected to the campus network, assists with virus and spyware removal, and software downloads.

Email ResNet with your day-to-day computing issues. If your support need is urgent, call extension 2900 and select options 1, 2.

Hours: Sunday - Thursday 7:00 -11:00 pm  (When classes are in session)

Location: Tomlinson Residence Hall, 2nd floor

Help Desk is closed July 3 (4th of July weekend)
The Help Desk will be closed Friday, July 3, for the 4th of July holiday. If there is a campus emergency affecting campus servers or ITS services, please dial 704-894-2900 and select option 4.
CMS 6.0 Upgrade Update: Email and Publish
During the upgrade to 6.0, we moved to a more refined workflow, one that uses global rules for all users. There are two issues that need to be addressed: Emails and the Publishing process.
