Information Technology Services

Information Technology Services (ITS) is responsible for providing and supporting all aspects of campus computing and telecommunications services. ITS’ mission is to work in collaboration with members of the Davidson community to facilitate the use of current and emerging information technology resources. The Davidson community served by ITS includes faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents, prospective students, retired faculty, trustees, vendors, contractors, and all other individuals and organizations that interact with the College. These individuals and organizations are provided with varying levels of access to computing infrastructure and services.

The range of systems and services provided include those that support and enrich teaching, learning, research and administration. The systems and services touch virtually every aspect of campus life and are central to the academic enterprise as well as administrative processes.

Seniors: Important ITS Account Information
Account Information: Your Davidson accounts will remain active for one month after graduation. Those accounts will be deleted on Wednesday, June 18. Your telephone number and voice mailbox services will be deactivated on Friday, May 23.
Academic Software Needs: Fall 2008
ITS takes special care to ensure that you are provided with any specialized technology needs you may have for the classroom. We are asking that you submit your Fall 2008 requests by May 16th.
New Collaborative Learning Software
ITS is pleased to announce the availability of Team Spot, a group learning tool that is enriching group study spaces on campuses across the country. The tool is available in the Language Resource Center in Chambers and the laptop lounge in the ITS Student Computing Center located in the basement of Belk Residence Hall.
