Davidson College's commitment to service is clear in its statement of purpose: "The primary purpose of Davidson College is to assist students in developing human instincts and disciplined and creative minds for lives of leadership and service."  While service and community involvement are principles practiced across campus, the Davidson College Community Service Office is the hub for service efforts on campus. 

The Community Service Office, through its programs, events, and resources, works with students, faculty, staff and community members to promote learning through service and engagement with our local and global community.
