The Davidson Athletic Foundation, another vital component of the Annual Fund, is made up of over 2,600 alumni, parents, and friends of Davidson College. The primary purpose of the foundation is to raise scholarship and operating funds to build, support, and maintain a competitive first-class athletic program for Davidson. The foundation provides scholarship and operating aid for student-athletes in 21 intercollegiate sports.

Contributions to the Davidson Athletic Foundation provide these vital scholarship funds. In addition, they support team budgets, facility improvements, and equipment purchases. These objectives are accomplished within the guidelines of Davidson College and NCAA policies.
