Getting Involved

Want to increase your knowledge and broaden the horizons of others? Then get involved with the Student Advisory and Faculty Advisory Committees.

These committees, usually called the SAC and FAC, are an integral part of Dean Rusk International Studies Program and help us increase campus awareness of international issues

The SAC is for Davidson students who:

•  want to help bring excellent speakers to campus;
•  enjoy writing about international issues; or
•  desire to publicize international issues to the campus community.

The FAC is for Davidson faculty members who:

•  can advise the SAC and other program participants;
•  will participate in the award-granting process;
• desire to facilitate a balanced and well-researched understanding of international issues throughout the campus community.

In addition the Dean Rusk Program coordinates Davidson's chapter of the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for international scholars. Find out more about Phi Beta Delta.
