Given the international focus of contemporary problems, students have the possibility of studying how different disciplines contribute to understanding and formulating effective solutions to these global challenges. The International Studies Concentration offers students the opportunity to pursue a coherent multi-disciplined program in international studies. There are three components to a degree concentration in International Studies at Davidson: 1) language proficiency; 2) course work; 3) an international experience. International Studies Concentration Application While course work is normally done at Davidson, it is possible--with the approval of the International Education Committee--to receive credit toward the concentration for course work done at other institutions. Interested students should submit applications to Dr. Homer Sutton. Applications are due on the last day of the late drop/add period of the first semester of the senior year. For more information about the program or the concentration specifically, please contact the Dean Rusk International Studies Program or Dr. Sutton.
