Brief description of project, including any changes from the original plans described in your application: Observed classes (English, Turkish, German, French). Interviewed students and teachers. Conducted survey of immigrant students. Survey expanded to include students of all immigrant backgrounds, not just Turkish.
Ways in which you have shared and plan to share what you learned from your project with others at Davidson and beyond: Personal conversations, sharing pictures. Presenting findings in my German Thesis presentation.
Short evaluation of your experience and whether you would recommend it to another student: Great Experience! Highly recommend contact with the immigrant students and their teachers. Lots of exposure to diversity and the adversity the students face.
