Program Expectations

The Davidson College Travel program is designed to provide rewarding travel opportunities with a learning component for Davidson's alumni, parents, and friends. All participants should understand the dynamics of group travel and anticipate the minor mishaps that can occur with any trip, particularly international trips.

We have selected experienced tour operators and, for most trips, a Davidson faculty member or other college representative will accompany the group. The principal concern of both our professional travel operators and the college representatives will be the welfare of the group; therefore, the group's needs will necessarily outweigh any conflicting individual needs. Please note that some trips may not consist exclusively of Davidson travelers.

Registration
Reservations will be honored upon receipt on a first-come, first-served basis. By submitting your deposit you will be acknowledging your acceptance of the terms of the destination package.

Costs
Information contained in this and other travel brochures is based on the best information available at the time our tour operators offered their packages. However, all dates, schedules, accommodations, and costs are subject to change. All prices are based upon double occupancy. Single occupancy is available on some trips at a supplementary rate. There may also be single travelers available to share accommodations.

Most trips include the price of airfare to and from a single destination. Each traveler will bear the additional costs of getting to and from the departure point. Trip cost includes all in-country meals, lodging, medical insurance, in-country transportation, international flight from single departure point, and an expert local support team.

Cancellations and Refunds
Each tour has its own cancellation policy. Please review carefully each tour operator's policy regarding refunds and trip cancellations. Each tour operator offers trip cancellation insurance, which is strongly recommended by the Office of Alumni Relations. Should a trip fail to meet minimum reservation requirements, we reserve the right to cancel such trips and provide a full refund of all payments.
