About the Library

The Davidson College Library offers an extensive range of resources and services to support teaching and learning. Its collections include over 600,000 print volumes and over 500,000 e-books and online resources. The main library, named after E.H. Little, houses the bulk of the print collection as well as the College Archives and Special Collections; it is also a selective government depository with over 200,000 federal government documents. There are two departmental libraries on campus as well: the Music Library, located in the Sloan Music Center, and the Chemistry Library, located on the first floor of the Martin Science Building.
