Note from Nathan Elton, Director of Career Services

Nathan Elton, Director of Career ServicesWelcome to the Office of Career Services at Davidson College! We are delighted to be working with your student during his or her time in college and beyond. Successful planning for life after Davidson begins well before the senior year, so please encourage your student to visit us early and often. I also encourage you to explore our website and review the programs, events and resources available to Davidson students.

Finally, please know that I would love to hear from you - whether you have questions about how you can support your student or would like to learn about how you can hire or advise other students. Call me at
704-894-2492, email me at naelton@davidson.edu or stop by the office
the next time you are on campus. I look forward to meeting you!

Best wishes,

Nathan Elton

Partnering to Assist Your Student

Support Your Student
The Office of Career Services exists to empower students to set and achieve their post-graduate goals. We realize the impact that parents have on the lives of their students, particularly with regard to initiative in planning for a career. We hope we can partner with you in this effort.

How the Office of Career Services Can Help
Davidson's Career Services Office ensures that our students are prepared to set and achieve their post-graduate professional goals. We provide services, programs and opportunities that allow students to explore how their academic and personal interests relate to future professional opportunities; prepare for entrance into employment, internships, fellowships and graduate school programs; and succeed through on- and off-campus interview opportunities, employer information sessions, and job and graduate school fairs.

Employment and Further Education Outcomes
Each year the Office of Career Services collects data on the post-Davidson plans of 95% or more of our graduates.
