Office of the Vice President of College Relations
The office of College Relations has a dual mission: (1) to communicate with external constituencies (alumni, parents, friends, business and industry) and the college community the goals, objectives, news, and events of Davidson and (2) to involve these same constituencies in the life of Davidson College.

College Communications

Constituent Relations
The Office of Constituent Relations leads Davidson College's efforts to engage alumni, parents, friends, donors, and volunteers in the life of the college with the goal of increasing understanding of and support for Davidson. Constituent Relations is comprised of Alumni Relations, Donor Relations, Friends of the Arts, Research, Technology and WDAV.

• Alumni Relations
  The Office of Alumni Relations connects alumni to the college and to each other through formal and informal programs on and off campus. Visit the Alumni Relations web site.

• Donor Relations
  The office of Donor Relations seeks to strengthen the ties between the College and the community. The office serves those who give their time, money and service to the College, overseeing activities such as gift processing and acknowledgement, donor recognition, reporting and special events. • Friends of the Arts
  Informs and energizes audiences for the arts at the college, strengthens the bonds between the college and the larger community, and serves as a unifying cultural force in the region. Visit the Friends of the Arts web site.

• Research
  Provides information for president's office, development staff, and alumni office with regard to demographic trends, alumni activities, and donor support.

• WDAV
  WDAV 89.9, a public radio service of Davidson College and licensed to the Trustees of Davidson College, is a listener-supported public radio service providing classical music and cultural arts programming 24 hours each day. Visit the WDAV web site.

Development
The Development office coordinates the fund-raising efforts of Davidson College and is comprised of the Annual Fund, Corporate and Foundation Relations, the Davidson Athletic Foundation, Major Gifts and Parent Programs.

• Annual Fund
  Supports the heart of Davidson by providing students with day-to-day fundamentals like scholarships, library resources, technological upgrades, athletic equipment, and much more. Visit the Annual Fund web site.

• Corporate and Foundation Relations
  Cultivates, secures, and stewards external institutional grant funds (scholarships, capital gifts, sponsorships, and matching gifts) for programs that are consistent with college priorities.

• Davidson Athletic Foundation

• Major Gifts
  Major gifts are often made during a specific capital campaign for a particular initiative. However, major gifts may be made anytime and designated as such at the time of the gift. Visit the Major Gifts web site.
