Although the Student Health and Counseling Center does not have a psychiatrist on staff, arrangements have been made with a local private psychiatrist in the area to meet with students from Davidson College. Students who request and/or need to see a psychiatrist are responsible for this service and must do so at their own expense. Any one of the counselors on staff in the SCC are willing to help facilitate scheduling an appointment. Should you desire to seek services elsewhere, we will provide you a list of other psychiatrists in the area.
