Every summer, we offer the Davidson in Washington Program where students can take a seminar course and work in an internship in Washington, DC.
We encourage our majors to study abroad, and up to four off-campus courses may be transferred back as credit for their major. (see our Study Abroad page for details)

Political Scientists and Alumni Look Back to 1962 This year's fiftieth reunion class sponsored a lively discussion on the state of the world in 1962 and 2012 centered on presentations by three Davidson political scientists, former US senator and ambassador to Saudi Arabia Wyche Fowler '62, Harvard political science professor Graham Allison '62, and Brown Professor of East Asian Politics Shelley Rigger.
