The Davidson College Department of Chemistry takes seriously its mission to provide an exceptionally rich learning environment in which to study chemistry. All courses are taught and all research is planned and facilitated by faculty members who are generous with their time and knowledge. Students can expect individual attention—promoted through small lecture and lab classes and by professors committed to interacting with students one-on-one and in small groups—as a hallmark of the department.
