Davidson College is committed to providing a safe and healthy campus environment. In support of its commitment, the College established an Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) within the Physical Plant Department in order to implement environmental and occupational health and safety programs and to ensure compliance with all relevant governmental laws and regulations.

As part of its overall Environmental Stewardship outreach efforts, the department of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) is pleased to announce an improved "Battery Recycling Program" for the Davidson campus. EH&S' goal with the program is to improve how used  batteries and rechargeables are collected throughout campus.
