Patrick Sellers ('86) is Professor of Political Science and Associate Dean for Curriculum at Davidson College. His political science scholarship focuses on Congress, the media, and multi-method analysis. He has published extensively in leading political science journals, including the American Political Science Review. He has also published two books, Cycles of Spin (Cambridge) and Winning with Words (Routledge). He has worked on Capitol Hill for members of the U.S. House and U.S. Senate. At Davidson College he has helped lead a variety of administrative efforts, including revising the distribution requirements and implementing assessment in courses and programs across the curriculum.
