Davidson Joins Leading Online Learning Consortium edX Davidson College announced today a partnership with edX, a non-profit enterprise founded by Harvard and MIT, to produce a series of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) over the next several years. Davidson is among the first leading liberal arts colleges to collaborate with edX on the XConsortium platform, which is now comprised of 26 global educational institutions. |
ITS Help Desk will be closed during Memorial Day Holiday The ITS Help Desk will close Friday, May 24, at 10 a.m.for the College’s Employee Appreciation Year-End Gathering and will remain closed for the Memorial Day holiday. The Help Desk will reopen on Tuesday, May 28 at 8:30 a.m. If there is a campus emergency affecting campus servers or IT services, call 704-894-2900 and select option 4. |
Wildcat Bytes - Online Store for Used College Computers The process for buying used computer hardware from the College has changed. Rather than having announced sales once or twice a year, we will now sell used hardware through an online store, Wildcat Bytes. The inventory (Apple and Dell desktops, laptops, monitors and peripherals) will be updated as computer equipment is retired from campus use. |
