The Davidson College Office of Donor Relations is responsible for demonstrating the sincere gratitude of all whose lives are impacted by philanthropy to the college.  This is achieved through appropriate oversight to ensure that:

• All financial resources are expended in a manner consistent with donor wishes;
• Donors regularly receive accurate accounting and reporting living up to the fiduciary responsibilities of the college;
• Donor gifts are acknowledged in as timely and personal a manner as possible;
• Special events and recognition initiatives are executed in a manner consistent with the college's highest standards;
• The Board of Visitors program provides an active and meaningful leadership role for volunteers; and
• Donors receive, through written communication and personal interaction, assurance as to the impact of their gifts on the life of the institution.
